From high-flying gymnasts to the musically-gifted, Hendricks County residents will have the chance to see some very talented youngsters this weekend.
On Saturday and Sunday, The Champions Cup invitational gymnastics competition will kick off at the Hendricks County 4-H Fairgrounds and Conference Complex, 1900 E. Main St, Danville. The Champions Cup is a designated state qualifying event for gymnasts levels 1 through 10. Admission is $10 per day and completion will last from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information, visit allgymnastics.com/meets.
Music lovers can catch a free concert this Sunday when the Hendricks Symphony presents a recital spotlighting its students. The concert starts at 3 p.m. at Bartlett Chapel United Methodist Church, 4396 E. Main St, Avon. For more information, visit hendrickssymphony.org.
