Danville’s Town Council recognizes Warriors winning basketball season

The Danville Town Council recognized Danville’s high school boys basketball team with a
proclamation at their June 3 public meeting. The Danville Warriors had a 22-4 winning 2019-
2020 season, were Sagamore Conference and Sectional champions, and were preparing for
regionals when their season was cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The team received a
standing ovation from the council and the audience when the proclamation was presented to the
team.
