Two females found shot in vehicle

Two females were found shot in a vehicle late Friday (Nov. 29) after a Hendricks County Sheriff’s Deputy was flagged down in Plainfield.
According to Plainfield Deputy Chief Joe Aldridge, the deputy was flagged down on Main St., near Spring St. where he found two females who were shot, as well as an intoxicated male driver. Plainfield police arrived shortly after the deputy was attempting to provide aid.
It was determined that both females were shot in Indianapolis as a result of a domestic situation and then driven to Plainfield.
The identities of the females have not been released. One was transported to Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital in critical condition and the other to IU Health Methodist Hospital.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is handling the investigation.
