Plainfield-based Software Company to expand in Shelbyville

The Tyros LLC has accepted a partnership with the city of Shelbyville and will headquarter their operations in the city’s new business accelerator, the Intelliplex Technology Park, and plan to add up to 60 high tech jobs over the next five years, it was announced today.

Currently headquartered in Plainfield, Indiana, the company is planning to take occupancy in their new Intelliplex space in mid summer 2011. “Moving to Intelliplex is fitting because we are building something completely revolutionary, and the city of Shelbyville is planning for growth and expansion in an area where we are focused.  Having the backing of the city and its support will be tremendous for us as we continue moving forward,” says CEO Tony Monteleone.

City of Shelbyville Mayor Scott Furgeson says, “The goal of the business accelerator is to attract high tech companies poised for growth over the next few years.  The Tyros is a perfect fit for Intelliplex and our community.  We are thrilled to welcome them to Shelbyville.” Other tenants committed to locating in the accelerator include Ivy Tech and Lifeshare Technologies, another software company.

With a current headcount of three, The Tyros LLC’s hiring plans include adding positions in computer programming, marketing and sales. The Tyros LLC COO Joshua Koch says the first round of hiring could begin as soon as May 1, adding up to five new positions in computer programming and marketing.
