Hendricks Power has given Hendricks Regional Health a check for nearly $42,000 for using energy efficient lighting and equipment during the construction of its new Brownsburg hospital. It’s part of the Hendricks Power 2017 POWER MOVES program which offers energy efficiency rebates and incentives in the community. Program leaders say the hospital opted to purchase and install energy efficient lighting and mechanical equipment upgrades. The lighting is expected to last longer and utilize less electricity than what has traditionally been used. The new Brownsburg hospital, located at the corner of I-74 and Ronald Reagan Parkway, opened Jan. 8.
