Mike Cunningham, 2017 Hendricks County Business Leader of the Year and a co-owner of the building, has been a sounding board for Smash Social owner Chris Palmer.
Walk in, grab a paddle and start up a match of ping-pong with a few backspins, lobs and a couple of flicks. Enjoy the game with a beverage of locally crafted brew, specialty coffee or a glass of wine. Smash opens at 8 a.m. for coffee and light breakfast. The menu is seasonal to take advantage of available fresh ingredients, many locally sourced. I ordered the Coffee Cherry Fizz and the Avocado Toast; semolina bread topped with avocado and crumbled bacon. I added a snack for crunch with Cheddar & Bacon Popcorn and finished off with a fresh chocolate croissant. All were delicious and full of flavor…a Smash!

Some of my favorite foods there are spicy basil fried rice, pad Kee Mao (drunken noodles), Cashew nuts with chicken Thai spicy basil with chicken and sweet-and-sour sauté with chicken…
What do you like about this place?
I like the small quaint environment. They have a good variety of wine, a full service bar and the service is always great. They are friendly and very accommodating if you have questions or want to make changes to a dish. There is something for everyone.
