Danville brings back Tomahawk Trail Run

The Danville Parks and Recreation Department will host the Tomahawk Trail Run 8k on March 14once again. The run/walk began in 2008 and is returning for the first time in 3 years due to requests.
It will take place along the wooded trails in Blanton Woods. Organizers say the trails are good for runners who want a challenge.

“Tomahawk Trail Run is a tough course where you will face hills and rough terrain,” said Danville Parks and Recreation Manager Nate Phipps.
Cost is $20 for early registration online and $30 the day of the event.
The race starts at 9 a.m. There will be two laps around the course starting at Blanton House. The trails are located at 625 N. Washington St. in Danville.
