BPD make arrests in Fonville murder

Brownsburg police arrested 18-year-old Marques D. Hardiman, Indianapolis, and 17- year-old Christian D. Edmond, Indianapolis, for the murder and robbery of 20-year-old Avon resident Emanuel L. Fonville.

Brownsburg police, on May 6, arrested 18-year-old Marques D. Hardiman, Indianapolis, and 17- year-old Christian D. Edmond, Indianapolis, for the murder and robbery of 20-year-old Avon resident Emanuel L. Fonville, according to a prepared BPD statement issued May 7.  Hardiman and Edmond were taken into custody without incident and booked in the Hendricks County Jail and currently have no bond. Through the investigation, BPD detectives have been able to ascertain that this incident stemmed from an assumed sale of narcotics that ultimately resulted in a robbery and murder. While there have been arrests made, detectives continue to gather evidence, interview witnesses, review evidence that they continue to receive through legal service and actively investigate the case.
