BPD arrest armed robbery suspect
Brownsburg police early Sunday (Dec. 8) arrested Christopher Caselden in connection to an armed robbery on Dec. 7 at Huntington Bank, 1531 N. Green St., Brownsburg.
According to a BPD press release, at approximately 10:37 a.m. BPD responded to a report of an armed robbery at the bank. When units arrived, they spoke with employees of the bank who advised them that a current customer, whom they know, had just robbed them.
The suspect was named by bank employees as Caselden, 37, Brownsburg. He reportedly entered the bank and approached an employee and handed them a letter stating that he had a gun and needed a specific amount of money. The employee complied and Caselden exited the bank casually and left in his vehicle.
Brownsburg Police confirmed through video footage and the investigation that Caselden was indeed the suspect, and began to search for him and his vehicle with the assistance of IMPD and Caselden’s family.
Caselden was arrested at approximately 1 a.m.without incident and transported to the Hendricks County Jail and charged with Armed Robbery, a Level 3 Felony. He is being held with no bond.
