A new multi-use higher education center is set to open on July 29 in Plainfield just north of Plainfield High School. The new facility known as MADE@Plainfield will house classrooms, laboratories, and offices. The 100,000-square-foot facility will provide training and degree programs to support job and career success for adults of all ages.  Plainfield town leaders took a tour of the new building last week before the grand opening on Thursday, July 29th at 1610 Reeves Road. MADE@Plainfield is a collaborative partnership with higher education and workforce training institutions and resources, including Ivy Tech Community College, Vincennes University, Indiana Department of Homeland Security/Indiana Fire & Public Safety Academy, WorkOne, Hendricks College Network, the Town of Plainfield and Plainfield Community School Corporation.
