First Merchants Bank presented a check on Dec. 16 in the amount of $50,000 to the Hendricks County Economic Development Partnership’s (HCEDP) Hendricks County INspired program.  The funds will be used for the program’s 2015-2020 strategic planning and the initiatives that will be implemented over those five years.

“Our efforts are to help increase new private investment to help in the creation of new jobs and base industry to Hendricks County — helping our existing companies grow, and creating that one vision for the entire county will be two of our INspire initiatives. Our efforts will continue to focus on continued growth and economic development,” Cinda Kelly, Executive Director of HCEDP, stated.
