The Brownsburg Little League Majors lost it’s bid to represent Indiana in the Great Lakes Regional in early August, losing to Silver Creek (Sellersburg, Ind.), 6 – 0, in Greenwood on July 20.
“Very proud of these kids,” Bulldog Manager Brian Jennings said after the game. “Obviously not the outcome we wanted (but) they kept battling.”
Jennings cited the fight in the Bulldogs, coming from behind two runs down to defeat Munster earlier in the day in the semifinal game, 5-3, to advance to the final game as to the character of the team.
“Even today at the end (the game against Silver Creek) they were still out there ready to win the game,” Jennings said.
