The owners of Frazee Gardens have announced they will be closing the garden center located off State Road 267 in Brownsburg. Greg and Lisa Frazee have owned and operated the friendly garden and retail store since 2008. It was known for little touches like giving out bags of fresh popcorn and hosting Girls Night Out gatherings.

The couple has decided to shift the focus of their business back to their longtime landscape company, Brownsburg Landscape.

“We will continue to own and operate Brownsburg Landscape, which we founded more than 30 years ago, and we look forward to continuing relationships with many of our Frazee Gardens customers through that service,” said the Frazee’s post on Facebook.

“We look back on what started as a dream more than 12 years ago, with so many fond memories of the relationships we developed. Dreams turned into reality, customers turned into friends, and staff turned into family.”

The owners shared a big thank you on social meeting after announcing the bittersweet decision on social media.

“As we reflect upon the last 12 years, we say ‘thank you’ to everyone who shopped at the store, “thank you” to everyone who worked with us, ‘thank you’ to our suppliers and vendors, and ‘thank you’ to anyone who stopped by just to enjoy the beautiful sights or maybe grab a free bag of popcorn,” said Lisa Frazee.

Frazee Gardens hosted Girls Night Out fundraisers including “Pajama Style” for Hendricks Regional Health Foundation.

The owner of McCammon’s Irish Market, a garden and landscape business located in Greenwood, has purchased the building and land and has plans to expand business at the Brownsburg location.

Frazee Gardens gift cards remain valid and will be honored by McCammon’s.
